CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

  1. Develop novel processes to fabricate the liquid crystal alignment film.
  2. Apply soft-lithography technique and sol-gel process to fabricate the superhydrophobic surface.
  3. Apply micro-contact printing technique to fabricate self-assembled monolayers for further characterizing interfacial wetting behavior
  4. Use an isothermal titration calorimeter to measure the heat of micellization for nonionic surfactants.
  5. Apply density functional theory to model a mixture containing associating molecules for predicting both p hase and wetting behavior of the mixture.
  6. Explore wetting behavior in mixtures containing surfactants.
  7. Perform liquid-liquid equilibrium measurement for mixtures containing nonionic surfactants.
